Upgraded.today is a digital tool package for business analysts, business leaders and company owners who need to investigate and analyse the internal and external elements of their company.
Why we exist
Analyst tasks are still very much manually driven, heavily time consuming and often difficult to scale, with organisations inventing its own ways-of-working. That costs time and money and can produce misleading, non-uniform information — because people lose interest and patience before the analysis is completed. Corporate projects and startups pay for that every single day in wrong decisions and wasted resources.
Hi, my name is Thor Monsted
Senior IT Technical Project / Transformation Manager & Executive with 10+ years of experience translating business and technology strategy into concrete transformation plans, initiatives, governance, analyses and measurable outcomes in complex, technology / automation / integration-driven, fast-paced, competitive and regulated environments.
I’ve worked with startup companies where we build things from the ground, and 500-10.000 FTE organisations with focus on enterprise transformations, system implementations, migrations, business processes, governance and digitalization.
A large part of my work starts when the answer isn’t obvious.

Over the years, I’ve developed and reused a wide range of frameworks, questions and analytical approaches to answer exactly those questions.
That experience became the foundation for Upgraded.today.
The idea is simple: combine structured business analysis, proven ways of working and AI to make high-quality analysis more accessible, faster and easier to use.
Instead of starting every analysis from a blank page, Upgraded.today helps you systematically explore an idea, problem, project or business opportunity from multiple perspectives — and turn complexity into something you can understand, challenge and act on.
It’s essentially 15+ years of hands-on experience with business analysis, building businesses and complex transformation projects, converted into practical digital tools.
Now I’m on a quest to create the best digital toolbox for analyses.

How we design the toolbox

- • A suite of tools that individually structure and solve typical analyst tasks with uniform workflows and AI analyses, and with the option of combining them into deep-dive company and project findings.
